Share your work at the EKO Spring Symposium 2027

June 22, 2026

Present a concurrent session or a poster at the in-person conference next April 27 & 28

Empowered Kids Ontario is excited to open abstract submissions for the EKO Spring Symposium 2027!

Share your work with Ontario’s developmental health sector and join the conference that is known for bringing together the best minds to modernize clinical care, lead enterprise shift, and grow measurable impact.

When you present at the EKO Spring Symposium 2027, you contribute to a robust program designed to inspire multi-disciplinary and cross-sectoral responses to address burgeoning developmental health challenges, and to identify evidence-based opportunities so kids with disabilities and developmental needs and their families live their best lives.

You’ll reach and engage sector leaders, clinicians, policymakers, allied health professionals, researchers, students, and people with living experience—an audience not found anywhere else in the country.

There are two ways to share your work

The EKO Spring Symposium 2027 includes 30 concurrent session presentations throughout both days of the in-person program. Sessions are presented in a variety of formats designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas and information, adding value for presenters and their audiences.

The Poster Presentation is a Don’t Miss Event at the EKO Spring Symposium 2027. With designated times in the event program, delegates are free to walk the poster hall, speak with presenters, learn from a large selection of poster content, and vote for the EKO Spring Symposium People’s Choice Poster award.

Submit the best abstract possible

This year, we are hosting two webinar sessions to support submitters in developing compelling abstracts for the EKO Spring Symposium 2027. These sessions will provide practical guidance on how to clearly communicate your ideas and align your work with themes identified as essential to address at this moment in time. Attendees will learn more about the abstract review process and how to ensure your submission resonates with reviewers. Whether you are new to abstract writing or looking to refine your approach, these webinars will help you position your work as a must-have at the EKO Spring Symposium 2027.

Register for the first webinar on July 9 at 12:00 p.m.
