Say Goodbye, Say Hello

September 10, 2025

EKO will say goodbye to two incredible leaders this fall: Niagara Children’s Centre (NCC) CEO Oksana Fisher and Child & Community Resources (CCR) CEO Sherry Fournier.

Oksana leaves Niagara Children’s Centre at the end of September after a successful 15-year tenure, leading the organization through significant changes and unprecedented growth that positions NCC for continued success and innovation.

Sherry leaves CCR in December, concluding an extraordinary 33-year career with the agency. Her leadership has been transformative, and under her guidance CCR has become a trusted, impactful organization particularly in the delivery of early intervention and Autism services that have enriched the lives of families across the northeast and northwest regions of the province.

“We are immensely grateful to Sherry and Oksana, whose extraordinary records of service represent the best in developmental healthcare,” says EKO President & CEO Jennifer Churchill. “Both oversaw significant milestones during their tenures at CCR and NCC, including the repatriation of school-based rehabilitation and the OAP’s transition to a market-based model. Sherry and Oksana brought exceptional leadership to our sector and to their communities, and generously shared their time, knowledge and expertise with us over the years.”

CCR’s next CEO is Megan Dumais, who has over 25 years of experience in the public and non-profit sectors with a career spanning long-term care, education, public health, and children’s mental health. She is widely recognized for her expertise in workplace culture, leadership development, and organizational transformation.

Noella Klawitter moves from KidsInclusive to take on the role of CEO at Niagara Children’s Centre. Known as a collaborative, strategic, and family-focused leader with more than two decades of experience in health and social services, Noella is also Co-Chair of EKO’s Leadership Council and in that capacity, represents the Council on EKO’s Board of Directors.

Christine Kasserra returns to Kids Inclusive as interim director while a search is conducted for the centre’s new director.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Noella to Niagara Children’s Centre and Megan to CCR,” adds Churchill. “We know they will each continue to shape a future their teams and communities will be proud of.”
