Hannah Boamah

Hannah loves to talk to people. A self-described social butterfly whose favourite subject is Biology, she decided in Grade 8 that she is cut out for a career in Nursing and has made this her Number One goal.

Enrolled in Seneca College’s Pre-Health Science Program, there is no doubt Hannah will achieve this goal and any others she sets for herself.  Her commitment does not stop in the classroom—Hannah is an involved volunteer in and out of school, as a fundraiser for her school’s Culture Committee and the Red Cross Committee, as a participant in the Helping Youth Promote Equality Conference, choreographing the children’s choir at her church, and as a YMCA After School Program volunteer.

Known as a problem solver and natural leader, Hannah is dedicated and hard working.  “What sets Hannah apart from the rest is her ability to encourage and motivate others to follow suit by modeling her contagious energy, drive and compassion,” says Reina Chidiac, guidance and career education head at Hannah’s high school. “Hannah is a true inspiration to us all.”
