Submit the Best Abstract Possible—a webinar hosted by EKO

Register below for our second webinar on September 10 from 2-2:45 p.m. ET

This year, we are hosting two webinar sessions to support submitters in developing strong, compelling abstracts for the EKO Spring Symposium 2027. These sessions will provide practical guidance on how to clearly communicate your ideas and align your work with symposium themes.

A few key takeaways from our first webinar session:

  • Read the abstract submissions guidelines—and check the abstract adjudication form
  • Consider your audience—would someone outside your field understand the abstract?
  • Focus on impact—stories are the most memorable means of communication.
  • Pitch before you write—are others as excited about your idea as you are?

We will be back on September 10 to hear from June Coan-Brill and Anchel Krishna. As we get closer to the abstract submission deadline, June and Anchel will explain the selection process and offer helpful tips to consider before you hit submit. Our speakers have both sat on the EKO Spring Symposium Working Group and have in-depth knowledge of what we are looking for in a successful abstract—don't miss this opportunity to hear from two experts!

Fill out the form below to register for the next webinar session on September 10 from 2 - 2:45 p.m. ET. After you submit your information, check your inboxes for an email from Caroline cdavidson@empoweredkidsontario.ca with the meeting link. Feel free to reach out to Caroline with any questions or issues receiving the link.
