EKO seeks candidates to serve as board directors

April 01, 2025

EKO is seeking exceptional individuals from across Ontario who bring data, technology, and/or governance leadership experience to join the Board of Directors of this leading vibrant and impactful association. Those with relevant experience in areas such as academic leadership, life sciences, business intelligence, the broader public service and/or with a legal background, are encouraged to apply.

We invite candidates from a variety of backgrounds, and encourage perspectives of individuals who bring a diversity of living experience to the Board and the organization.

Directors join six board meetings per year, including at least one in-person, and consult on matters related to their area of expertise. New directors serve a three-year term beginning in the fall and may serve one subsequent term.

To Apply

EKO invites applications until Friday, June 13, 2025 at 5 p.m.

We thank all those who express an interest, however only those chosen for an interview will be contacted.

About EKO

For almost 50 years, EKO has represented a growing membership of publicly supported, community-based developmental health agencies, which provide services and programs to more than 200,000 kids with disabilities and developmental needs every year. We are the provincial voice for evidence-based policy, programs, and investment in the sector. EKO supports members through thought leadership, advocacy, engagement, learning and capacity building, and by working extensively with government, non-profit partners, and the research community to coordinate and encourage the delivery of care in new and innovative ways.

We are a founding member of the Children’s Health Coalition, a collective of Ontario’s eight leading children’s health organizations representing the province’s expertise in pediatric health care and research; together the coalition delivers every kind of care a child could need, and we see how the elements of care work together to support kids and families no matter what challenges they are facing. Learn more about the Children’s Health Coalition on the official website.
