The EKO Spring Symposium 2025 is in high demand

March 27, 2025

We’ve opened the waitlist for those hoping spots will become available

Three weeks before the in-person program, registration is at capacity for the EKO Spring Symposium 2025—with more delegates than ever before!

As Canada’s largest gathering of developmental health professionals and interest holders, this year’s event is bringing together 350 clinicians, leaders, scientists, educators, students and trainees, and families and youth, to connect, share knowledge and drive the sector’s agenda.

There is always a chance that spots will become available, so we opened a waitlist for anyone still hoping to secure their registration! Add yourself to the waitlist now.

We’ve already kicked things off with our 2025 Advance Keynote. Hundreds of people joined from across Ontario and Canada to learn from CHEO’s Dr. Michael Cheng and Frances Haugen as they discussed what we need to know about social media platforms, and how professionals and parents can support all kids in the world of online connection. Engagement was high, with pre-submitted and live audience questions driving an impactful conversation that left us with valuable insight and practical guidance to apply both personally and professionally. Thanks to our Program Partner: Advance Keynote, CHEO.

“This year’s Advance Keynote truly felt like you were sitting and chatting with three brilliant minds about how we can protect and foster the wellbeing of kids,” says Jennifer Churchill, President & CEO of Empowered Kids Ontario. “With the expert guidance of our moderator, Lloyd Rang, Frances Haugen and Michael Cheng shared with us their professional and personal experiences, speaking to our many roles and perspectives—we are all connected to the impacts of online harms and all have opportunities to address them.”

The tone has been set! We are ready to explore sector-leading topics and learn from highly anticipated keynote speakers at the in-person program on April 16 & 17 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto.
