Add This Don’t Miss Event to Your EKO Spring Symposium Experience

March 20, 2025

the Opening Night Reception is the place to be

If you’ve skipped conference receptions in the past, you are going to want to re-consider your approach at the EKO Spring Symposium 2025. The Opening Night Reception is more than just a social gathering—it’s a place to celebrate the developmental healthcare community.

Get ready for what promises to be a truly entertaining gathering, and a catch up with friends old and new, including the OECM team, EKO’s Spring Symposium 2025 Program Partner for the Opening Reception. “OECM is honored to be a Program Partner for an event that brings together clinicians, leaders, scientists, students, families, and stakeholders to advance professional practice and foster meaningful connections,” says Jim Hadjiyianni, OECM President & CEO. “We’re excited to welcome all attendees and create a warm, engaging space to celebrate, network and collaborate after a productive first day at the Symposium.”

“We are truly grateful to OECM – Program Partner for the Opening Night Reception. OECM is dedicated to making this a very enjoyable—and memorable—event,” adds Jennifer Churchill, EKO President & CEO. “Champagne Music will get the party started. The five-piece Toronto band first met at Humber College’s highly regarded music program and has been entertaining at local events for several years. You’re going to love their energy and their jazzy, playful renditions of popular songs. And yes, they do take requests!”

Churchill notes that beyond music and poster presentations, there are several surprises in store. “When you come to the Opening Night Reception, you’ll maximize your EKO Spring Symposium experience and get a full return on your conference investment.”

The EKO Opening Night Reception takes place April 16 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
in the Provincial Ballroom. See you there!
