Nominations open for EKO Tribute Awards

November 10, 2022

You don’t just win an EKO Tribute Award. You earn one.

Ontario’s child development sector is home to stellar professionals whose great success stories and dedication to kids with disabilities and their families are unmatched. We encourage people in Ontario, in Canada and around the world to celebrate those who contribute as innovators, successful advocates, and leaders.

“The Tribute Awards are EKO’s oldest and most prestigious recognition, presented to individuals, organizations, and teams that have made lasting contributions to benefit kids with disabilities, their families, and all our communities,” says EKO Chair Tom Walters. “This is a uniquely Ontario award recognizing those whose work ensures kids with disabilities and their families live their best lives.

“We are so proud of our Ontario colleagues who champion children’s development,” says EKO CEO Jennifer Churchill. “It’s an honour to recognize and salute their accomplishments.”

Tell us about the deserving people and organizations you know:

  • Exemplary leaders who blaze trails, inspire and mentor others
  • Advocates who drive change to advance child development and improve opportunities for kids, families and communities
  • Partners whose extraordinary collaborations bring innovative and creative solutions to better serve kids with disabilities, their families and their communities.

Nominations in four categories are now open for the 2023 EKO Tribute Awards. Find out more about the awards, and the nomination process. The deadline for submissions is March 1, 2023.
